Old St. Nick comes to Marysville this Saturday, and as always the city will be holding a parade to celebrate his arrival. The fun begins at 2:30pm, where Santa will be meeting with children, before the parade, at the Springrove Variety Store. Then at 3, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and a Minion will make an appearance. After the parade, Santa will be presented with the key to the city then he'll pull the switch to light the Christmas decorations in the park. Hot cocoa and cookies will also be provided in Pavilion 2. Although the deadline to enter the parade is today, Marysville Recreation Coordinator Stefanie DeNardin says if groups still want to join they will be able to contact the Rec dept. all the way up to Saturday.
