The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the Mobil gas station in Lakeport was robbed early Wednesday morning. At around 3:30am a white male came into the station wearing dark pants, a dark hoodie sweatshirt, gloves and a black ski mask. The man implied he had a gun, and ordered the clerk to the register and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene. Deputies were able to follow his footprints, which ended at the shoulder of Lakeshore Road, just south of the Mobil Station. The man is described as being 5'6" tall with a medium build.
