A holiday favorite returns to McMorran this weekend, The Nutcracker Ballet! Since the first production back 25 years ago, The Nutcracker Ballet Theater Company has been continuously putting on performances of the ballet every December. Each year they cast between 90 to 150 roles, using students and professional dancers from all over southeastern Michigan and Ontario. Coming back for his 9th year is Sean Michaels, morning show host for 96.9 WBTI. In previous years, Sean and his wife Jeanine played the butler and maid. For this year's performance they'll be playing the Mother and Father. Showtimes are Friday at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday, at 2pm.
