A relatively light agenda for Port Huron City Council tonight as the seven member board has less than a dozen action items before them. A $50 thousand donation for the Police Department's K-9 unit is to be announced, a pair of property demolitions due to code violations expected, and various appointments are to be made. Discussion also in the notice from Port Huron Township on the possible approval of a "Specially designated Merchant's Distributor's establishment" for a Medical Marijuana growth and distributors facility proposed for Dove Road. The Port Huron meeting gets underway at 7:00 pm this evening.
