The Detroit Pistons are (2-0) to start a season for the first time since 2008-09, the last time they made the playoffs, after a 92-87 win over the Utah Jazz at the Palace on Wednesday night. It is only the third time Detroit has beaten the Jazz in the last 20 meetings between the teams. Reggie Jackson had 19 points, while Andre Drummond added 18 with ten rebounds. Detroit will play Chicago on Friday.
