Cocaine Seized in Drug Raid

A 53 year old Port Huron man is lodged at the St.Clair County Intervention and Detention center today, following a drug raid last night. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the St.Clair County Drug Task Force was conducting an investigation into the sales of narcotics in the city of Port Huron. Information was gathered and a search warrant was issued for a home in the 2100 block of 21st street, the DTF executed the search warrant at about 10:00 p.m Thursday night. The St. Clair County Sheriff Special Response Team, along with the Sheriff K-9 unit assisted in the execution of the search warrant. About $800 worth of Cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash, cell phones and packaging materials were seized. The suspect is expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender.
