The Texas Rangers belted three home runs off Detroit starter Matt Boyd in the first three innings on Wednesday night, on their way to a 6-2 victory over the Tigers. Tyler Collins knocked in both Tigers runs with a single in the first inning. Detroit begins its final series of the season on Friday night in Chicago against the White Sox.
