The St. Clair County Sheriff's office partnered with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, once again, on Saturday, during National Drug Take Back day. Dozens of citizens from around St. Clair County came to the Sheriff’s Office to dispose of unwanted, expired or unused prescription pills. A total of 235 pounds of pills were turned over to the DEA. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says he's proud of the continued effort by citizens of our county to dispose of these pills properly. If you were unable to attend the Drug Take Back Day event, you can still turn in your unwanted, expired or unused pills at the Sheriff’s Office Michigan Road location, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.
