A new view at Lakeside Park this week after bulldozers cleared the site where new restroom facilities and a food concession stand is to be built. The old changing rooms were knocked down and an area cleared off where the new building will go. A splash pad and boardwalk are to be constructed too in the over half-million dollar project. City officials hope to have the improvements finished by summer of next year.
