Gas prices have tumbled for the fourth straight week across the state, according to a new survey from AAA Michigan. The Auto Club says the statewide average weekly gas price is down 10-cents from the previous week to $2.26 per gallon. That's also $1.24 less than this same time last year. Meantime, Metro Detroit’s average weekly gas price has fallen six-cents from the previous week to $2.28 per gallon. That's $1.25 less than this same time last year. Of the cities surveyed by AAA for self-serve unleaded fuel, the lowest average price can be found in the Flint area, where it’s $2.16 per gallon. The highest average price can be found in the Ann Arbor area, where it’s $2.33 a gallon.
