A little about me… I graduated from Specs Howard School of Media Arts in December of 2009. A short while before that I landed an internship here helping Laura Luchtman out around the studio. After a few months I was hired in. Ever since I have enjoyed every second of it and I am more than thankful everyday for having the coolest job.

What do you like best about working at Q Country? The opportunity to work with a great group of people. As well, it’s always a good time meeting new people and of course hooking up the Blue Water Area with all their favorite country tunes.

What are your favorite places to go to eat/drink in the Blue Water Area?
Casey’s Pizza and Subs in downtown Port Huron. Conveniently located at 620 Huron Ave. Stop by or give them a call at 810-982-0900. You can also find them on the web at PizzaPortHuron.com… Casey’s Pizza and Subs proudly serving the Blue Water Area. Ok… they didn’t pay me for that but I love that place. I think I could live off their Breadsticks and Beer for a year. Who wants to make the documentary?

What are your favorite movies? As of right now: #1 Shawshank Redemption, #2 Gladiator (The boxing one), #3 Goodfellas

What is your favorite thing to do during your time off? During the winter pretty much just hang out… What else is there to do! I make up for that in the summer. When I am not on the go you can find me at the beach or along a river with a fishing pole.

If I came to your home and looked inside the refrigerator, what would I find? Other than the usual items that require refrigeration you will find Peanut Butter. Not sure why but I like it that way. You will also find outdated condiments and milk products that for some reason never get thrown away.

Could you give us a little insight into the rest of the air staff at Q Country?
Starting with the morning show crew…
Chuck, Laura and Dennis get up insanely early and are non stop all morning. Of course Chuck is the ring leader who tries to keep Laura off Facebook while Dennis cleans the morning air with his sports related rants.

The rest of the crew…
Gerry Clark, Dawn Elliot, Codey Roberts, Nikki Christie and Jamison Shaw are all very talented and hard working. When they are not working their second jobs they are out there volunteering in the community.

If you were another person, would you be friends with you? Well… That’s a tough one but probably not that guy is quite hyper with all that coffee he drinks. Ok this is really weird!
