The Red Cross is out for blood.  Officials say the holidays are a slow time for donations to come in, so they're campaigning for more folks to come in and roll up their sleeves.  Elizabeth Lozen at the Port Huron American Red Cross Blood Donation Center tells our Paul Miller if there's a need for blood somewhere, the Red Cross will be there. Lozen says this time of year, when people are busy with the holidays, is a particularly slow time for blood donations.  So is summertime.  And even January, when many colleges have breaks.  Call the local American Red Cross at 985-71-17 to find out more.
