MICHIGAN HAS A NEW STATE TREASURER




Kevin Clinton, currently the Insurance and Financial Services Director for the state, will succeed embattled Treasurer Andy Dillon, who announced his resignation late last week. The appointment was announced by Governor Snyder Tuesday. Clinton has been serving as Director of the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation since 2011. The agency regulates Michigan’s financial industries including banks, insurance, credit unions and mortgage companies.
