TOWN HALL REPORT TONIGHT FOR CITY COUNCIL

Port Huron City Council hears a report from the South East Michigan Council Of Governments tonight dealing with the Housing Summit held last month.  Representatives from SEMCOG will detail results of the session which was held to get a feel for what the community wanted to do in terms of blight and other problems affecting the local housing market.  City Manager Bruce Brown will also be updating council on what has happened since the summit was held. In other business the council will consider introduction of an ordinance that  sets hours that fireworks may be shot off on those days already allowed and prohibits use of fireworks if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
