Time to get your fest on.  It's the big Blue Water Fest today through Sunday, with all kinds of events, activities and attractions happening in downtown Port Huron.  Fest director Tim Block tells us the event is free, and features over 40 live bands performing on several stages, and also sees a new salute in a military area. Each of the branches of the military will be offering up displays. Local food vendors will be in the Zebra parking lot with the Blue Water Taste Fest, with a bit of everything available from Greek to Mexican, as well as Italian and American cuisine.  This evening sees Family Night, with tomorrow night designated as the traditional Boat Night.  The race to Mackinac starts Saturday, and Saturday night the carnival comes to a close at Desmond Landing.  Saturday night also sees the Lighted Boat Parade, with Sunday night the event coming to a grand finale with a fireworks display over the St. Clair River.
Listen for updates to the events and live broadcasts on our family of radio stations: WPHM, WSAQ, WHLS, WBTI, and WHLX.
