Students going to St. Clair County Community College or Baker College will have a place to hang their book bags, as a student housing development opens, in downtown Port Huron.  Local developer, Larry Jones, is spearheading the Landmark Port Huron student housing project, with a ribbon cutting set for Monday.  He tells us about the project, along the 300-block of Superior Mall, which is a 2-unit, 4-bedroom facility is made for 8 occupants. Jones says, the development is perfect for attracting young almost-professionals that want to do everything in a downtown setting.  A ribbon cutting ceremony is set, for 11:00 a.m. Monday, with local State Senator, Phil Pavlov, and Port Huron Mayor, Pauline Repp, on hand.
