An annual emergency services breakfast held Friday morning at Fore Lakes where local coordinator Jeff Freidland introduced the guest speaker...an official from New Jersey who is still battling the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Friedland says one of the more interesting things about that storm was the aftermath and the fact that clean-up continues into this day. He says disaster prepardness needs to also include being prepared for a massive cleanup. Cherie Black was the state representative from New Jersey. Some 300 local emergency personel and county officials were in attendance at the session.
