RIVER WALK PARK AREA GETTING SOME LOCAL HELP

Progress continues on the Blue Water River Walk on Port Huron's south side, with the local Rotary Club getting in on the act by announcing they'll be sponsoring a park.  Randy Maiers at the local Community Foundation says the project has been in the making for a couple years, and will be an added attraction to what's already planned for the look out points, fishing pier and other amenities. The Saint Clair River shoreline is the focal point of the walk, which is expected to see completion sometime after 2014.  It's actually part of the Bridge to Bay Trail which begins in New Baltimore.
