Sold out crowd Monday morning for Town Hall in Port Huron where Nicholas Sparks, the author of The Notebook and other classics, spoke at McMorran Place about how he bacame a writer and where he gets some of his material from. Film adaptions have occured on a half dozen of his novels. He says it is always tough to get certain elements in the written word on screen. Sparks first novel was the Notebook which was published in 1996. Over a half dozen other works have become international best sellers.The Town Hall series continues next month with a comedy spoof called Forbidden Broadway.
