So I used to hate the gym. I'm still not exactly a huge fan. But lately I've been pushing myself and making sure I go 3 or 4 times a week, and it's really been paying off. I've lost some fat and gained a ton of muscle, and I'm not even dieting or anything. I guess the moral of the story is, if you want to get back in shape for the summer, lose a few extra pounds, or maybe a lot of pounds, or whatever, you should really push yourself to do it. Trust me, I don't like going, but if you can just make the effort to get some sort of excersise on a regular basis, you should see results in about 2 weeks. I know it's hard to find that time and motivation, but if you can, you'll really feel good! Give it a try!
The Tigers by Cody Roberts,posted Apr 17 2012 3:28AM
The Tigers look amazing this year. The offense is unreal, and Justin Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball. I actually fully expect them to make the world series this year. It's going to be a fun summer of baseball!
Today was the 15th Anniversary of "Fight Night at the Joe", the legendary brawl between the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche in 1997. One of the best hockey games of all time, Darren McCarty got revenge against the evil Claude Lemieux for his dirty hit that injured Kris Draper the year before, pummeling Lemieux in to the famous 'turtle posisition", while the goalies Mike Vernon and Patrick Roy fought at center ice. And besides the fights, it was a great game, the Wings winning 6-5 in overtime, with the hero of the night McCarty scoring the game winning goal. Hockey will NEVER see a rivalry like this again!
