A good vacation

So I just got back from a trip up north, and it was awesome.
I was kind of bummed this year because I didn't have any money for a vacation, but luckily I ended up able to go on an amzing one. My buddy Cody (his name is Cody too) has a cabin up in Roscommon about 3 hours away, and he invited me and the guys to go up there for "Man Weekend".
It was pretty sweet. We swam in a crystal clear lake, explored some trails, had an awesome bonfire every night, and ate and drank like kings. It was an incredibly good time.
The best part: the whole three and a half day trip cost me less than 50 bucks total for food, drinks and gas. That's it.
I've been on the big vacations to Florida and California and New York and stayed at fancy hotels and gone to the big amusment parks and all that, and honestly this litle trip to a cabin 3 hours away was easily just as good, probably better. If you get a chance to go camping, I highly recomend it.
It sounds cliche, but I have to say, I think the simple things in life are the best.
