About a half foot of snow is expected throughout the Blue Water Area over the next 24 hours. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for  Huron, Lapeer, and Sanilac Counties  until midnight tonight. Meanwhile St. Clair and Macomb Counties are under a winter weather advisory. Four to six inches of snow are expected in the immediate Port Huron Area, with as much as a foot possible to our north and west. The pending snow storm has prompted most schools in Southeast and Mid-Michigan to close today. Click here to view local school closings.
