Fort Gratiot Township has a new treasurer. After the passing of former Treasurer Judi Reynolds in December, the Fort Gratiot Township Board of Trustees last week named Bob Buechler the new township treasurer. Supervisor Jorja Bladwin, speaking to WPHM yesterday, says township officials had a wide range of candidates to choose from. Baldwin adds that it was a tough choice to make but says Buechler was the most qualified candidate for the job. Beekler is a local attorney and will serve as treasurer for the remainder of Reynolds term, which expires in 2020.
