A traffic stop along I-69 last Friday lead to what authorities are calling the largest meth bust in St. Clair County Drug Task Force history. A sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle along I-69 near Kinney Road in Riley Township on the afternoon of November 2nd. While talking with the driver of the vehicle, the deputy became suspicious about possible drugs that may be in the vehicle. A K-9 unit responded and detected drugs in the car. During a search of the vehicle, 125-thousand dollars worth of methamphetamine, along with cash and marijuana were found. A 38 year old Port Huron man was arrested and is housed in the St. Clair County Jail where he faces a multitude of drug related charges.
