Authorities in Sanilac County are reporting an accident involving a pickup truck and a horse drawn buggy. Authorities tell WPHM the accident happened on Peck Road west of Maple Valley Road in Flynn Township around 7:30am Wednesday morning. A 29 year old man from Marlette was traveling east in the buggy when he was rear ended by a pickup truck driven by a 35 year old Brown City man. Marlette EMS and Brown City Fire Crews responded to the incident where the occupant of the buggy refused treatment. The driver of the pickup truck was cited in the accident.
