The Blue Water Community Action Agency has finalized it’s purchase of the Baker College campus in Port Huron Township. Announced in December of last year, the non profit will move it’s head start classrooms and office space to the three building campus along Lapeer Road. The purchase of the property was facilitated through a $1.5 million dollar loan from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development office. Additional funding includes $320,000 dollars from Head Start and $147,000 dollars in contributions. The Blue Water Community Action Agency provides education, nutrition, and health programs to low income families. Baker College will continue to rent space in one of the buildings.
