The 43rd annual Antique and Classic Boat Society show is now underway. Nearly 200 vintage vessels from all over North America are on display along the Black River in Port Huron between the 7th and 10th Street Bridges. Mark Walker is a member of the local Antique and Classic Boat Society and helped bring the international event to Port Huron. Walker says the public can check out the antique boats both today and tomorrow from 9am to 4pm. Boat rides will also be offered tomorrow starting at 11am. Walker says the show, dubbed “bring your boat back home” celebrates the boat-building heritage of the local area, which includes Marysville’s Gar Wood and Algonac’s Chirs Craft. Free parking for the boat show is available in the SC4 parking lot.
