Port Huron City Council has a busy agenda tonight

Port Huron City Council is scheduled to meet tonight in both regular a special session meetings. At 6:15 pm, a special meeting will be held to discuss dangerous tree removal across the city. City Manager James Freed tells WPHM the city is likely to enter into a contract with an outside vendor for tree removal. Then at 7pm, City Council will meet in regular session where there are faced with A multitude of agenda items. Among those include the approval of four Ford Interceptor utility vehicles for the Police Department and a new Ford F-250 pickup truck for the Fire Department. Council will also whether or not to extend a towing services contract with Preferred Towing through 2021. Also tonight, the Port Huron Beautification Commission’s yard of the year winners will be announced.
