The Detroit Pistons got two players in the NBA draft on Thursday night, despite having only one pick.  Detroit used the 42nd overall pick to take guard Bruce Brown from Miami.  Brown missed a large portion of the season with a foot injury, but in parts of two seasons averaged better than 11 points a game.  The Pistons also traded two future second round picks to the Philadelphia 76ers for Khyri Thomas, who the Sixers selected 38th overall out of Creighton.  Thomas is considered as one of the best perimeter defenders coming out of college.  In first round news, Michigan States Jaren Jackson Jr. was selected 4th overall by Memphis.  Another Spartan, Miles Bridges was taken 12th overall by the Clippers, who then traded Bridge’s to Charlotte.  The Clippers got the 12th pick from the Pistons last season in the Blake Griffin trade.  Michigan center Mo Wagner was selected 25th overall by the Lakers.
