Abraham Almonte hit a grand slam and Mike Moustakas added a three run home run, as the Kansas City Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 8-5 on Sunday to earn a split in a four game weekend series at Comerica Park. Nick Castellanos had three hits and two RBI for the Tigers, who head to Pittsburgh on Tuesday to open a three game inter-league series with the Pirates.
