Lions Stumble

The Detroit Lions fell to (3-2) on the season with a 27-24 home loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.  Cam Newton passed for 355 yards and three touchdowns for Carolina, out dueling Matthew Stafford, who had 229 yards through the air with two scores.  Darren Fells caught both of Stafford’s touchdown passes.  The Lions travel to New Orleans next Sunday to take on the Saints.
