The Port Huron Prowlers have announced that star forward Branden Parkhouse has been resigned by the team for the up coming season.  The native of Rancho Cucamonga, CA finished third in the FHL in scoring behind team mates Ahmed Mahfouz and Matt Robertson, with 83 points.  Parkhouse had 31 goals and 52 assists and finished +35 last season.  His year included a 22 game point streak during the second half of the season.  The Prowlers also picked up the rights to three more good players during Wednesday’s Danbury dispersal draft.  Port Huron selected three forwards, Matt Graham, Alex Johnson, and Dean Yakura.  Graham was third on the Titans last season with 58 points, including 23 goals and 35 assists, with a +21 rating.  Despite two call ups to the ECHL, where he played in 11 games, Yakura managed 41 points in 37 games for the Titans, including 10 goals.  Johnson was held to just 24 games played last year due to injury, but had seven goals and 14 points, and scored 22 goals as a rookie in Brewster the year before.
