Port Huron broadcasters receive awards

Lots of local awards handed out Tuesday night at a gathering of members of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters event in Lansing. The local winners were competing in one of several radio markets honored at the event. WSAQ, Q country 107 taking top awards for their morning show and for the home grown country show. WBTI 96.9 seeing a “best in” category award for a “Bowling for Boobies” fundraiser. 1380 WPHM’ took home a “best” award for news. Also seeing awards: WBTI’s morning show and Mothers Day broadcast as well as WPHM’s Paul Miller Morning and Dennis Stuckey shows.
