Looks like the McMorran Pavilion may soon be in control of the Saint Clair County Community College. That is at least the recommendation sent on to Port Huron City Council following an early morning board meeting Wednesday October 7th. The recommendation came following a report on comparisons between proposals by the college and the minor hockey association as given by Jason Thompson of the firm Brailsford and Dunlavey. McMorran Authority's recommendation now expected to be subject to a Port Huron City Council public hearing and eventual final vote. Their final decision might not be announced until next month.
