Major Port Huron drug bust

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the drug task force made a major drug bust Monday night. Six people were arrested during raids at 1000 block of Chestnut Street and the 1100 block of Gillett Street in Port Huron, the Gillett house was being used as a stash house. Seized during the searches was more than $27,000 worth of heroin, $7,500 worth of cocaine, $2500 worth of methamphetamine, $400 worth of analogue pills and marijuana, $4000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia and packaging materials were discovered as well. Six people were arrested; two men from Detroit ages 30 and 24, and two men from Port Huron ages 30 and 27 are facing several drug charges and are expected to be arraigned on Thursday. The two others arrested, a 24 year old woman from Port Huron, and a 27 year old man from Marine City were released to appear on their charges. The Sheriff's Office Special response team and the Port Huron police department assisted during the search of the homes.
